Journalling journey

 

 

 

I love Teesha Moore's journal blog www.teeshamoore.com have look at how she makes her journal covers.  The youtube clips are brilliant - I have been making up these little pillows as she calls them and stitching an edge and quilting/embellishing the fabric these will then be sewn together to make a cover - I really want to get into journalling and have been squirrelling away lots of little bits to play with  - my usual lack of confidence holding me back - Teesha is a real inspiration I've just gotta take a deep breath and GET ON WITH IT !!!!!

Etsy pieces

I have been stitching these little stitched pieces over the last few days - the first one with yellow stripes (yet to photograph) I finished and was admiring it when I dropped it in my tea it is at present on the boiler drying!
These little heart brooches will be loaded onto Etsy for sale or maybe I should also put them on Folksy too - I need to set up accounts and will add a link to the main page when I do it - all this technology is hard on an old girls brain.

Another shot from the side to show the height of the padding (I love padding)it looks like a biscuit!

And then I cut off the frame and stitch the excess fabric to the back and over stitch a little striped edge added a brooch back and voila........
