Stitch

Making myself get started on ideas that have been ruminating (is that a word) for a while now and want to do a series called 'Peep Show' little stitched vignettes - a little slice of my imagination cut off to only show a section of the design well see the photos and you'll get the idea.

This first photo shows the design pencilled onto linen (some nice firm-woven natural colour linen I had in my stash) and then I cut out all the felt pieces and stitched down with tiny little stab stitches. This piece is called 'a little bird told me'.

I've worked some more on the above piece ........

This next photo above showing the little birdy partly stitched I usually stitch my birds using bright colours but I thought for this one to stick to real bird colours.......more to come..........
